| ACTION ACROSS THE NATION |
| ACTION WORKS TO FORM ALLIANCE WITH NEW MEXICO |
| The ACTION Project is working with local officials in the State of New Mexico with the objective of becoming the second State to join the ACTION Project. The State of Florida became the first state outside of California to become a partner. Project Director and Supervising Attorney, William Yoshimoto, made a presentation to the State of New Mexico Advisory Committee on Terrorism following up on over a year’s worth of groundwork. Members of the Advisory Committee include representatives from the Sheriff’s Association, District Attorney Offices, Emergency Services, FBI, US Attorney’s Office, farming groups, environmental and public health agencies and the military. The ACTION Project concept was well received and further meetings are planned for the future. |
